Hi, I'm new here!

Welcome to the life of an unapologetically honest, open and raw Mum of one.

I just thought I would introduce me and my family so, my stories may have a little context.

I'm Carly (not actually a Carlos like all of my socials say; that's a story for another time), a 24 year old #Mum living in Sydney. 

My partners name is Tom - we have a beautiful 7 month old son called Thomas (who I'm sure you will get to know ALOT more about) and a 3 year old Italian Greyhound, Giovanni.

I am originally from the Mornington peninsula, VIC and Tom is from Gold Coast, QLD. With our families being so spread out it really is "just us" here in Sydney.

We met in 2014 and spent the first 2 and a half years with our relationship being long distance - this is something I will blog about at a later date. After that time we decided it was finally right to make the move and live together so, I packed up my life and got in my car. That was 2 years ago now and we haven't looked back.

I work for NSW Health in Pathology but, am currently on #maternity leave after giving birth to Thomas (yes my partner and son have the same name. Yes its confusing) in June last year. I had what I see now as the pregnancy from hell with many complications and hurdles to get over so, I spent a lot more time off work than desired.

I have found since being off work that sharing my lifestyle, stories, experiences, passions and quirks has really started to not only bring me joy, closure, revelation and acceptance but, sometimes help others around me feel connected as well.
